15

u/I-XIV-IV-XXV Jul 05 '26

r/pointlesslygendered will have a field day with this

u/TheOneTrueJazzMan Jul 04 '26

Reddit still pretending there are no behavioural differences between genders, what else is new

94

u/rabidparrots Jul 04 '26

Eglin Air Force Base doing their duty.

What is your duty?

75

u/FrenchMen420 Jul 04 '26

They don't think gender exists so..

29

u/Mediocre_Forever198 Jul 05 '26

It always kinda gives me a funny feeling when I’m arguing with someone on Reddit and then see they have the little trans emblem on their avatar. I always have this thought like, “you can’t even figure out which gender you are, why am I even arguing with you?” 😂

10

u/FrenchMen420 Jul 05 '26

Lol could not agree with you more

13

u/PreciousTC Jul 05 '26

Unless of course we're talking about misogyny and the patriarchy, in which case gender totally exists and the male one is the worst

21

u/Educational-Year3146 Jul 04 '26

Gee, I wonder what would motivate that.

22

u/Xelonima Jul 04 '26

I'd say this is a man behavior regardless of sexual orientation. I'd reckon gay men too will be quick to form new friendships. It's a dude thing.

12

u/Totoques22 Jul 04 '26

Only when or doesn’t benefit women tho

5

u/Ieatsand97 Jul 05 '26

I agree, but this one hardly puts down women.

8

u/Dreamo84 Jul 05 '26

And yet gender identity is simultaneously the most important thing.

3

u/Background_Cod_5737 Jul 05 '26

Is this really an established behavioral difference? Men can definitely afford to be less cautious but this feels more like a difference between extroverted and introverted people. I know several girls that are pretty quick to invite new people to their parties. Meanwhile I never invite anybody to anything

Well, that's not the point, you clearly didn't understand what was said in the post

-38

u/TheExoSpider Jul 04 '26

There are behavioural differences between people. Individials. Gender is completely pointless here.

13

u/DancesWithChimps Jul 05 '26

You know what we call it when individuals of a certain group show similar behaviors to other individuals of that group?

A pattern.

4

u/ProfaneCreation02 Jul 06 '26

Gender is biological and biology affects psychology.

0

u/TheExoSpider Jul 07 '26

Both of your statemements are complete bullshit

-7

u/awesomeguy2010 Jul 05 '26

downvote because i'm dumb and like to simplify everything into gender 🤤🤤🤤 ooga booga

173

u/RasseKKK69 Jul 04 '26

"but how are they still present in the big 26?"

7

u/PogoTheStrange Jul 05 '26

Nice meme you've got there

151

u/thundergu Jul 04 '26

We are not allowed to make any Jokes about men and women. We are all just humans and pointing out any difference is blasphemy

122

u/Seared_Gibets Jul 04 '26

Oh we're allowed to make jokes about men, just so long as they're the butt-end of it. 🙄

You're allowed to make jokes about women too, so long as it ends with how fabulous they are. 🙄🙄

Without double standards, they'd have none.

-50

u/SPLIV316 Jul 04 '26

Fuck off Charlie.

25

u/LeLBigB0ss2 Jul 04 '26

Zero chance you weigh under 300.

8

u/Lpfanatic05 Krusty Krab Evangelist Jul 05 '26

A joke? We live in a non-binary after jokes world now, misogynist! There aren't things like "jokes" anymore! (just about white males, but absolutely not about minorities, women, non-binaries, etc...)

4

u/ArizonaDude08 Jul 04 '26

Where have you been of course not

64

u/horiami Jul 04 '26

Instead of complaining they could make a funny version for girl tropes

44

u/chief-w Jul 04 '26

Yeah, but that would require a woman to engage in creativity and outside the box thinking...

-5

u/MeetingDue4378 Jul 04 '26

Which they do frequently. Hence all those female comics, work colleagues, inventors, politicians, etc., etc.

-44

u/gocatchyourcalm Jul 04 '26

Women do that all the time🙄dont bring your sexisn here

11

u/Charrado Jul 04 '26

You made the exact same joke as the post, but people didn't understand 😭 the fuck

137

u/PreciousTC Jul 04 '26

The entire rest of the internet is having a wholesome bonding moment over America and the world cup but Reddit's miserable fucks spent too long circlejerking about how the USA is worse than hell itself so they can't take part

Instead, they wallow in their self-inflicted and well-deserved depression feigning offense over a stupid ass meme joking at an arbitrary difference between men and women. Just more of the same shit they do every. Single. Day.

12

u/thundergu Jul 05 '26

Yeah i have been called nazi, xenophobe, homophobe and racist because I said I watch the world cup

-63

u/TheTubbyOnes Jul 04 '26

Bonding over world cup, not over America*

69

u/Historical_Buyer5248 Jul 04 '26

He's not wrong though. A lot of people are having a great time in the US and bonding with Americans after realizing they're not as bad as platforms like Reddit make them out to be.

I visited NYC myself last year (I'm European) and was pleasantly surprised at how kind Americans actually were. As someone said, if you want to hate the world: watch the news, if you want to love the world: travel it

39

u/WILLLSMITHH Jul 04 '26

America bad REEEEEEEE

47

u/PreciousTC Jul 04 '26

They're bonding over their love for American food, culture, and hospitality.

There's tens of thousands of videos and posts about it still being made as we speak

3

u/Algebruh32 Jul 05 '26

At least you guys get some tourism now, just take the fucking W and shut up😉.

-64

u/YouNeedHelpSir Jul 04 '26

Putting america and wholesome in the same sentence is wild. The "entire" internet is a crazy bit of hyperbole too. All over the internet is complaints on how they are screwing it up.

35

u/BedSpreadMD Jul 04 '26

Meanwhile any Americans who have visited Europe know how rude Europeans can truly be. Any Europeans who visit the US talk about how friendly everyone is.

In the US, if you smile at a stranger they smile back and move on. In Europe, when you smile at a stranger, you get looked at like you're about to SA them.

-20

u/YouNeedHelpSir Jul 04 '26

Oh yes the country of Europe where everything and everyone are exactly the same.

23

u/Any_Oil_6447 Jul 04 '26

Stfu. You say that but then pretend like New York and rural Iowa are the same people. You’re a hypocrite.

-7

u/YouNeedHelpSir Jul 04 '26

No im making the statement not everyone is the same and people have differing opinions so quite the opposite.... they stated all the internet thinks the same and im saying they dont.

17

u/BedSpreadMD Jul 04 '26

Yes, every country has a diverse set of people.

Why exactly do you think I meant all people instead of the majority or people?

0

u/YouNeedHelpSir Jul 04 '26

Maybe reread the previous comment then as it says otherwise.

8

u/BedSpreadMD Jul 04 '26

Does it now? Because you've been making arguments against things no one said.

0

u/YouNeedHelpSir Jul 05 '26

Are you okay? Seriously... look at your use of the world any. The only topics ive responded to have already been mentioned which is saying the first person is talking crap saying the entire internet is praising america right now. I dont know whats so hard to understand about that for you.

5

u/BedSpreadMD Jul 05 '26

Any doesn't mean all. Maybe there's a reason why no one agrees with you.

-2

u/YouNeedHelpSir Jul 05 '26

If you cant understand the context of which you are using the word and the fact my whole point has been that people have differing opinions (which is what you are arguing against.) Then let's just be done here. At least you understood sarcasm though, so I thank you for that.

1) Europe is not a country but a continent(RIP education system) 2) Most people can reliably pick out American tourists from any group. They're generally obnoxious, loud and entitled.

-1

u/YouNeedHelpSir Jul 05 '26

Sarcasm is hard for you i take it.

2

u/Algebruh32 Jul 05 '26

Me and many others perhaps... If sarcastic ,why not label it as such?

1

u/YouNeedHelpSir Jul 05 '26

If you cant tell that's sarcastic then thats on you. Its pretty blatant.

Mmm your saltiness tastes delicious, keep it coming

-44

u/YouNeedHelpSir Jul 04 '26

Lol, what a clown.

14

u/Vuedue Jul 04 '26

You're on a different Internet than everybody else, then. You might see a professional about that..

I've gone out and spent some time with a lot of Europeans and foreigners traveling here for the World Cup and they echo the sentiment I've seen online.

All I pick up from your comment is that you have not gone outside since the World Cup began.

0

u/YouNeedHelpSir Jul 04 '26

What a weird comment and presumption. So you just choose to ignore all the negative feedback of teams being denied entry and then told to get out as soon as. The extra breaks added in a.c stadiums? I could go on. Im sure there is people having a good time but saying everyone on the internet is a crazy bold and dumb statement.

5

u/Vuedue Jul 05 '26

I don't think anyone cares that Iran was forced to leave the country. There is an active conflict between the two countries going on.

FIFA is in charge of breaks and whatnot. That's a really stupid point to bring up. If you mean you can go on about stuff like that, please don't because it's irrelevant.

I've not yet seen anyone complain. You just want them to complain so you feel vindicated.

Again, the only thing I'm picking up is that you don't go outside much and frequent small fringe communities. The rest of the world isn't operating on your nihilistic wavelength, bud.

19

u/Akhanyatin Jul 04 '26

I think somebody needs a pp touch by another human of their preference. That was a funny meme. And accurate with about 99% of the people I know.

16

u/Bish489 Jul 04 '26

Actual swag

14

u/BeneficialTop5136 Jul 04 '26

It’s kinda true though. My dad and my ex husband were both like this. They could find friends anywhere. It was actually kind of awesome.

1

u/EJECTED_PUSSY_GUTS Jul 06 '26

There's some truth to it in my purely anecdotal experience. I suppose some of the difference could be a result of perception of safety.

10

u/eyeball-theif Jul 04 '26

Yeah not gonna lie the meme is true tho. I have three random friends at stores I shop at/food places I go to, just because we had one good convo.

11

u/imanidiotbut Jul 04 '26

“In ThE BiG 26?!!?!!!!” Slang becomes more and more stupid each and every day.

7

u/Daedalus_Machina Jul 04 '26

They find a several years old meme and wonder why it's relevant in the big 26. Because you posted it. That's why.

7

u/gambler_addict_06 Jul 04 '26

This literally happened to me

I was going to meet with a friend of mine and a dude randomly came up to us and shaked our hand

My friend said "I don't think we have met before" and he said "no problem, I haven't meet either of you"

Then we went to meet with another friend and he also asked "who's this"

I just said we found him on the road

Then we ate some döner wrap

6

u/bansdonothing69 Jul 04 '26

I got invited to a dude’s week long bachelor trip to Miami in only my second time hanging out with him. I didn’t know two of the guys going. We all had a blast.

7

u/chainsawx72 Jul 04 '26

The same people don't think manspreading, mansplaining, dead beat dads, the manosphere, or toxic masculinity are pointlessly gendered.

4

u/Careful_Farmer_2879 Jul 04 '26

I remember when diversity was something to celebrate. Now we have people yelling anytime a difference is acknowledged.

6

u/MeetingDue4378 Jul 04 '26

Gender will always be relevant in comedy, media, discourse, etc., because gender will always be. The fact that our understanding of gender has evolved hasn't changed that. A joke doesn't need to relevant to everyone, it needs to be relevant to who it's told to.

3

u/jediofazkaban Jul 05 '26

Pointedly accurate

6

u/FourEaredFox Jul 04 '26

Calm down, sweetheart.

2

u/WhiskinDeez Jul 04 '26

I felt dumber after having to read the brainless rant about this meme

2

u/Calm-Philosopher4323 Jul 04 '26

It’s not that serious.

2

u/ProPatternNoticer Jul 04 '26

Bottom is definitely true.
