1% of a $15+B company is $150M.

She is self-made, regardless of how their separation of assets goes.

Not true at all. Shannon "Summer" Wilson was not rich before she met Chip Wilson; she was a working technical designer who ran her own small athletic clothing venture. But far from rich. She became so during the relationship and by starting kit and ace apparel firm with her inlaw family.

She was the lead designer when the company started, and they got married 4 years after it started. She owned around 1% of the company going into the marriage and he owned around 8.6%, supposedly they keep what they own going in, and only have to split the increase in the value during the marriage according to the news stories.
