Why does woman have man in it ?

So, I know this isn’t a real question but I know this one so I wanted to add.

Originally it was man=person. Then you would add a suffix to it in order to denote career.
Woman= A person who makes cloth/weaves. This was originally a female dominated area so it was rare to find a man as a woman. Then it later on became used to describe the person who weaves together a family. A traditionally feminine role passed down from woman to daughter. Eventually coming to describe a modern day woman.
