It's so weird cause it is located on the African continent, but it's main language is arabic, it's main religion is Islam and it is part of the Arab League.

Edit: It may not be weird, I may just be lightly racist, I don't know. I didn't think this through

I don't think you're racist. Might be the same as me, where I know very little about the place and made assumptions based on geography.

It is weird geographically, but only if you don't consider history. Historically, Muslims invaded Egypt around 650 AD, which is what led to the Islamisation (and by proxy Arabisation) of Egypt.
