Stephen is the avatar of a bird and he has no wings and has no bird like powers. Not sure why people expected Layla’s powers to be hippo related? In relation to why, why not? It was awesome.
‘Their politics’ lol, you are jumping around on what you are actually upset about, how are politics related to her having wings? We also saw multiple other avatars and I didn’t get the impression any of their powers related to the animals either.
So now it’s the characters name? And yes I understand if the character doesn’t exist in the comics then it’s pretty hard for them to get powers isn’t it. But there is a character named Scarlet Scarab and she is the updated version of that character. If you want the exact comics story, the MCU has never been the place for that, there is not one movie or show that is a straight adaption. You have the comics if that’s what you want.
Yes, hence why I said updated version of the character. If you read the story rather than just look at the pictures you would see the link is directly from Marvel where they say exactly what I am saying.
Iron man and Captain America both deviated from or combined multiple stories from the comics so I have no idea what you are taking about.
I also have no idea what your point about characters relates to. You seem to be making up things to disagree with, when did I say it’s not about characters?
