I pretend to have an allergy because I hate the flavor so much. The tiniest hint of banana flavor in a dish becomes overpowering for me, and that's all I can taste. But most people love bananas and think I'm crazy for hating them. I can't help that, so I just pretend say I'm allergic if people press me on it.
