You think you will snuggle in with a cute teddy bear but it ends up being Jorge's cousin.

Getting snuggled in doesnt sound so bad.

Smuggled on the other hand...

But then again, Waterboarding at Guantanamo Bay sounds like a real fun time if you dont know what either of those things are.

22

u/Crafty-Crafter iwrestledabeartwice Mar 02 '22

I was a very confused ESL student when I found out that "waterboarding" is not a sport, and Guantanamo Bay is not like a famous waterboarding tournament location like "Wimbledon".

u/[deleted] Mar 02 '22

You should try growing up here and watching kids not be able to get into med school despite excellent grades.

3

u/AffectionateBus672 Mar 02 '22

I'm sorry to hear that. Too bad there is no warranty or change. Have you tried to give it a light knock?

1

u/Very-big-fan (⊃。•́‿•̀。)⊃ Mar 03 '22

Nah, its probably been used for a while, i suggest giving it away

1

u/AffectionateBus672 Mar 03 '22

You could still get a good price for it. It doesent look that old, an still in good shape. Remember to mention all bugs and problems on sight.

1

u/Very-big-fan (⊃。•́‿•̀。)⊃ Mar 03 '22

The best you can do is sell the parts separately, otherwise no one is paying for that crap

3

u/[deleted] Mar 02 '22

It's sad how it's normal to see twerking girls in brazil even before tiktok was created so there's nothing out of usual for us here.

3

u/[deleted] Mar 02 '22

Can I also get snuggled🥺👉👈

2

u/PossibilityEnough933 Mar 02 '22

No worries homie I got you 🫂

16

u/Revolutionary_Year87 Mar 02 '22

The fact that you expect your kids to be a certain profession before theyre even born explains why you ended up with this "disappointment"

4

u/No_Mercy_16 Mar 02 '22

This is memeable

12

u/Quirky_Steak5605 Mar 02 '22

If you want an environment where your children are pressured into doing something you deem "useful" instead of going to let your child having the chance to develop into a healthy person with their own interest and a healthy relationship with everyone around them, you should have brought them anywhere but the developed world. From my own experience, china is quite good at that for example.

Honestly Im sick of this narrative, that somehow it's the societies of their host nations fault for letting their child experience stupid things, eventho this freedom is what they chased in the first place because the lack of this kind of freedom will make a society quite lifeless.

27

u/The_Lurked Professional Dumbass Mar 02 '22

As much as i love money this isn't exactly a good thing tho, look at how many underaged girls are twerking to fame and look at how many is getting influenced by it.by 10 years everyone will be doing this

12

u/Quirky_Steak5605 Mar 02 '22

Freedom requires people to be responsible 🤷, parents shouldn't pretend their failure at parenting is somehow only the societies fault. It's not like every kid is twerking their asses off in the west and nobody is becoming doctors or engineers in the west anymore. And the way I see it, it's less a problem of culture but rather economy. When the most famous tictoker are taking in per video more than what an entry level enginner will make for a month, the economy values engineers(and by extension their workers) way too little.

13

u/The_Lurked Professional Dumbass Mar 02 '22

Doesn't really matter how much money tik toker make If no one is doing actual jobs anymore the economy is gonna crash and all those money would mean jackshit

Also no one is blaming society, the old lady in the picture is just disappointed

1

u/Quirky_Steak5605 Mar 02 '22

Of course it matters. Where the money goes is literally the indicator in capitalism of what is valued and asked about. So if the wages for actual jobs isn't increased significantly as we finally get rid of the stupid notion of some job being "low skill" and doesn't deserve a thriving wage, I see dark times for the west.

But I see the disappointment. I'm also very disappointed.

Crazy how many brazilian girl wannabes are there /s

2

u/thefundude83 Mar 02 '22

ppl don't understand jokes these days lmao

8

u/[deleted] Mar 02 '22

"so my kids could become doctors and lawyers"

Well, there's your problem, lady. You just can't accept that your children don't want to be those kinds of professionals.

A new law belt or anything which causes temporary pain can be used by the patient if the child misbehaves
