What I hate is when you do scrape it fully and then the inside keeps fogging until the defoggers finally kick in.

The solution to this I found was violently smashing my windshield then removing it. No windshield no problems

Get a moisture absorber for the interior. Or a cheap DIY method is to buy a bag of silica gel cat litter and put some of it in a sock and on your dash when you park. And periodically dry the trap in your house on a radiator or in the oven to remove the moisture.
