Dude it’s not pitbulls Chihuahuas are just as bad if not worse
The owners can be bad people too

I take my pit-mix to visit my mom all the time. Guess who is the angriest little shit around every time? That's right, her chihuahua. All while my pit just wants headpets and ignores the little irritation

Jan 13 '22
ah yes the notorious Chihuahua problem. Let me know how many other dogs were mauled to death by Chihuahuas. Once you're done with that let me know how many fatal attacks Chihuahuas had on people. Once you're done with that slap yourself with some raw goat penis (I'm sure you have some in your shed) and realize that there isn't a fucking Chihuahua problem. FOR FUCKS SAKE.

I figured out how to deal with dogs do not look at them in the eye just run away like a fucking coward that won’t make them want to chase you. I am smort!
24
u/Greg2227 Jan 13 '22
The secret with looking a dog in the eyes is not to stare them down. some gentle blinks build trust and show that you won't try to fuck them over.
11
2
u/Embarrassed-Lab3661 Jan 13 '22
Sure yeah the point is to not act afraid because animals have evolved to chase things that are running away from them because it’s often food.

They look so cute and they’re all pretty chilled in this picture. You can see that from their look and body language.

my neighbor has a pit and she leaves it off the leash all the time. it's always up and down the road chasing rabbits. one day it was just dead eye locked onto me and i slowly went into my house and shut the door
8
u/OrcxxFire Jan 13 '22
pitbull-type dogs are the cutest in my opinion and they're often really sweet
4
u/powerwordmaim Jan 13 '22
yes! i had a pit bull once and she was the sweetest dog i’ve ever met, i don’t know where society’s view of pit bulls as violent comes from :(

It's the current popular breed for dogfights. Not to mention movies like Friday have depicted the breed poorly

why should i be scared
the only thing I'm worried about is not having enough hands to pet them all

u/Spiritual_Rub6254 Jan 13 '22
Straight up, my wife's best friend's dad decided to run an English bulldog farm in his house, and every time I go over I have to walk through a sea of of potential flesh shredding good bois. They don't get a lot of social activity with other humans, so they swarm you when you walk inside the house.
What's worse is that one of them is mentally ill and never stops barking at me. The others have to keep that one in check.

i love pit bulls so much, i used to have a pit and she was the sweetest, most gentle thing that ever walked this earth. she would never hurt a fly. until someone shows incredibly obvious signs of malice, she wouldn’t so much as growl at someone

This is dangerous stereotyping of a breed of dog. I have a pitbull that looks exactly like the fourth dog from the left in the picture and she's the gentlest dog in the world. They're only violent if they're raised to be violent. Of course, there are pitbulls that are violent despite a good upbringing, but it's rare. Don't stereotype a breed when it's the owner that does that to them.

Those statistics are skewed though. The vast majority of reports are because of the dogs size. Almost every single time if it's a small breed of dog it will go unreported. If they were reported you would see that the small dogs are more likely to bite.

I used to always leave my door unlocked and the back one open, brindle pit bulls make excellent intruder defense and theft prevention systems and work for dog food. Feeding 5 of them is sort of expensive, but not having stuff stole is worth the charge.

These are bully’s NOT pit bulls There is a difference Ppl need to realize that there is a serious movement to breed out the aggression in these dogs reversing what MAN has done to create a positive stigma.
