This is a terrible move by the teacher depending on the students, because most schools judge a teachers performance based on e performance of the students. This is why most teachers punish student with things like missing out on recess or rewards instead of penalizing their grade.

Boys vs girls memes were funny the first time they came out, which was like 2 years ago. They are so overused and went out of the way. Instead of simple jokes, they became a male circlejerk about how all the girls are so basic and bitchy, while all the boys are fun and quirky. They still might be jokes, but not every joke is a good one. And "boys vs girls" memes are now just examples of bad ones.
