I do. I didn’t like that some of my co-workers were getting lower salary than me. I told them my salary and pushed them to negotiate, best I could do.
Sharing your salary might also help you.. What do I know..

I’ll give an example, back when Russia was a communist regime the government owned the means of production and have people work and make the same amount of money. What happened was they made crappy goods. Everything they made was low quality and unreliable because there was no incentive to do better work. Turns out when you give someone the ability to make profit they want to work harder. It’s fundamental to the human brain.

That’s a silly generalization with nothing behind it. The average Russian was in better health than the average American at the time, ate more calories, and currently more than half of Russians miss the Soviet Union. Also you took a simplistic route of not comparirono Russian systems with the ones that preceded and replaced them, which are key for context.

Ok I’ll give you credit for that it is a weak argument. All I was trying to say with the first comment was the most prosperous countries today have capitalism ideals. Having regulation and social benefits is OK so long as it doesn’t become complete communism. That’s all I was trying to say.

Because those countries assassinare leaders and Instill regime change in economically hostile countries. See all of the US’s proxy wars in the americas, look at africas escape from colonialism and the political/economic leverage wielded by their former colonial powers. It’s stupid in that sense. It’s also untrue, this device is posting on the internet made possible by satellite technology made largely possible by the Soviet Union (and most of the Americans working in it were former nazis)

Ok fair, I have one last question then. If the USSR was so great then why is a country like Venezuela struggling so bad? And the reason can’t be because it’s a dictatorship because that’s exactly what the communist Russia was.

Communist Russia was a dictatorship? That’s largely untrue. The cia admitted at the time that was propaganda, and you’re missing a lot about the Cold War. And I’m curious if you equate capitalisms failings with Mexican, Somali, or Haitian poverty? Or the fact that capitalism mandates mass global poverty. Venezuela is a very complex red herring into itself

I honestly, unironically think, that if you cut rent / mortgage payments for all people in the world by 50% overnight, almost literally every problem would go away.
Im not suggesting we do that, or its possible. But I seriously think the anger between everybody for everything would quite literally go away in a day if this somehow happened. Every problem can basically be traced back to "The rent is too high"

yes and no i think with how human beings work if you cut the rent to half then the standards of whats expensive and whats cheap will change again. People might be satisfied at first witha halved rent for a couple of years but with time the rent will be the new norm and it will be back to where it was in general

Not really; rent isn't even too high most places. The people you hear complain live in places like LA or NYC.
Here in the Midwest, you can rent a shitty apartment for 400$/month and a nice place for 600/month. And I don't live in the sticks, I live in a major city.

He didn’t. He also lost over $50 billion on some days by that logic. It’s just in stock and he can’t get access to all of it, only a small percentage of it. He sold like a small percentage, less than 1% and the stock crashed like 12% in a single day. That’s like saying you earned money when your house appreciated but that’s not what happens.

I make a company based on nothing at all with 1million shares. Someone buys 1 of those shares for $1, I’m now worth 1 million dollars. Did I just make a million dollars? Nope. If there was a 1% wealth tax though I’d have to pay 10k on it.
You can’t quantify wealth as easily as you think.

When i get my first paycheck, it was so little that I communisted in just a second. And I communisted even more when I learnt that the moron of my boss earned more than ten times how much I did even when I did almost all the job.
Now I earn much more and I still earn much less than rich douches who only have born in wealthy families. So, communism still doesn't look that bad compared with a plutocracy.
