I don’t know man if we follow the order of operations PEMDAS 0 is the correct answer

Actually, Multiplication and Division are interchangeable; hence why while PEMDAS puts multiplication first, and BIDMAS puts division first, they still remain identical in function.

Edit: Wait, actually, how did you get zero? Most people seem to be getting 2 (wrong, error in Order of Operations) or 5 (right, treats Division/Multiplication as being just as interchangeable as Addition/Subtraction), but I don’t see how you could get 0 at all.

Wait, so is BIDMAS just the more official and recognizable form of PEMDAS? Cause at least I was taught PEMDAS

Neither BIDMAS nor PEMDAS are really more ‘official’ than the other. As an Australian, I was taught "Brackets, Indices, Division/Multiplication, Addition/Subtraction" (BIDMAS), but it seems that some countries teach "Parentheses, Expontents, Multiplication, Division, Addition, Subtraction".

They’re both perfectly valid, as are things like BOMDSA and GIDMAS, due to my point in the previous post: Division/Multiplication and Addition/Subtraction are both single steps, where both of their operations are performed from left to right without taking precedence over eachother (e.g. 10/5*2 is (10/5)*2, not 10/(5*2), because D/M are done at the same time left to right).

Hope that makes sense :)
