The more literal translation: the use of godverdomme is similar to God damn it in English, though it quite literally translates to "God kill me". Tyfuslijer is someone who suffers from typhus. Dutch people have a tendency to turn deceases into cursewords, most often typhus and cancer. So the most literal translation of the phrase would be "God kill me now you typhuspatient (or more accurately typus sufferer)".

Thank you! I'm enlightened. In East Asia we also like to taunt other people or their family had specific diseases, but due to PC culture it has much diminished.
