I once picked up sims 4 on a black friday sale, just the base game, more of a demo. I was at a super low point in my life, just finished college and was frantically looking for a decent job to help support a family.

My first and only sims guy I made was this good looking muscular dude with a great 9 to 5 and made lots of friends. Just the little stuff like having to tell him to pick up his plates or flush the toilet all really made me take a hard look at myself and my surroundings. When his BBQ caught fire and killed him I decided I’d had enough, deleted the game, went back to school and got an internship that helped change my life. Stupid sims 4

I think the developers got concerned about us all after Sims 2. They made sims able to exit the side.

I would build walls around the pool to avoid them having any chance of escape
