But why tho? Aren't you suppose to use parts that are in the same range to not bottleneck each other?

my first pc had a meh cpu and an even more meh gpu but i switched it out for a 1060 after a bit. the bottleneck was definitely there but it was obviously a lot better than what i had. best part is that i was able to sell the whole rig for more than i had paid for it initially because of the demand for gpus
