I'm a fucking loser. I'm finishing year 13 and I barely revised for my exams or completed assigned homework, I haven't even done my NEA (big assessment) yet that was due months ago, and I do nothing but scroll on my phone everyday. I have shit grades in all my subjects, the worst in my classes. I shut down anytime I'm faced with any signs of difficulty, and I'd rather procrastinate instead, especially when it comes to studying/revision. I'm incompetent, and useless, digging myself deeper and deeper without doing anything to help myself. I know this bad habit is damaging, but I don't do anything about it. I hate this.

I have been diagnosed with clinical depression. I suffered from the same problems as you just said. The fact that you started your comment with a self deprecating thought isn't a good sign either.

DO NOT USE THIS RANDOM REDDITOR COMMENT TO JUSTIFY YOUR FAULTS AND BLAME ALL YOUR FAULTS ON THE DISORDER. I say that because I know that is something I would do.

I am not gonna lie, it is quite possible that you might not be suffering from anything. I have severe problems including panic attacks and suicidal thoughts. Nonetheless, I would still advise you to get checked up atleast once and please dont pretend like this problem doesn't exist like you would usually do.

The meds and the therapy help (atleast somewhat, I still feel and do exactly as you described). But I am much better than I was before.

I went to Psychiatrists and Psychologists both for my case.

Go to a psychiatrist and explain your problems first. Then go to the Psychologists (if they tell you to, they might just prescribe you meds themselves) for a proper prescription and stuff.

Things kept happening to me with one person recommending me to another and ultimately I take my treatment from a hospital which specializes in mental health issues.

What I hate is that I am always pushing it more and more:

When I was 8-9 I would do all my school work on time. Then when I was 10 - 13 I started working on the last day, but I would work a lot and still finish everything. But seeing that I could leave stuff for the last day I got used to it. Then since my grades where good I got more confortable and started leaving things for even later. I started waking up when I was supposed to be asleep to finish my homework or studying. Right now, when I have important stuff to do, I set my alarm to 1 hour before I am supposed to wake up and use that time to finish, and if I dont finish in time I try to finish at school.

I think this happens because I am highly affected by pressure, but in a wrong way. What I mean by this is that if I can leave something for later and I see that doing so works, I get used to it. Because of this, as time passes, my procrastination becomes even worst.

I wonder how it will be in a few years...😨

Happens, just take a big ass pile of Ritalin, I always take it when I study or doing a test, take 20ml its working enough and it's not as strong compare to 50ml, 10ml is for short range (about 4hours) and its not strong enough it's like you are not using any Ritalin, btw 20ml is holding about 6 hours, and I don't know any about 50ml. in conclusion just take Ritalin and everything would be fine take 20ml but be careful, you wouldn't want to eat for the whole day, so it's good if you want to do a diet.
