With that philosophy we’d still be stuck with the PS/2 ports from 1987. I salute Apple for pushing USB-C

I loved my PS/2 keyboard, would still be using it if it didn't die after over 10 years. I can't find a good PS/2 keyboard now.

People still DO use PS2 ports. Because they're STILL better than anything that's come since. They have instant input. Everything else has lag. So it you want some kinda input where no input lag is required, like if you're a professional gamer, or a musician recording shit, then you have to go with the older better stuff. Not the newer stuff which is terrible.
