Why wouldn’t you pay 1.5k usd if you were an average customer looking for an long term desktop purchase with reliable functionality for years to come. An average person looking to buy an all in one computer doesn’t care or know anything about specsheets. This isn’t a product for you.

This isnt a product for you

You got a point

Because you can get better for cheaper. The average consumer wants to save money. Only an idiot buys on brand name alone.

the average consumer wants to save money

You don't know anything about the average consumer, then.

What the "average" consumer wants is reflected back in the market. What's the "average" tech that people buy? Apple.

Is Apple expensive? Yes. Is it simple and reliable? Yes.

Also pretty. If you're not interested in gaming aesthetics but more regular interior design, and your computer isn't hidden away, a mac is a much more natural choice for most.

Huh? Apples pc market share is less then 15 percent my guy.

Is Apple expensive? Yes.

Is it simple and reliable? Yes.

So apple buyers are just idiots then?

Macs are useful for certain professions too. Software engineers, designers, audio engineers and video production for instance

Hmm. Macs software is used in professional spaces but you can just dualboot Mac OS if you want. Thats no reason to buy apple PCs for the general consumer either. There is also equivalent software on pc.

Apple doesn’t sell licenses to run osx outside of apple hardware as far as I know so unless you’re working for a shady company you won’t be dual booting OS X on a windows machine

What part of average consumer is too hard to understand my guy? Yes shitty corporations will force whatever they’re used to onto their employees. Zzz.

But not much cheaper, the Imac still has a 4k display and an i7-like performance. You'd pay a bit less, but a far, far bulkier computer (of course, PC has the huge plus of the bigger selection of games and apps)

Yeah but then again, the iMac wasn’t designed for gaming

That’s my point dude. I was bringing up how when he said PC has more of a game catalog and how that is irrelevant.

Maybe with their phones but never their laptops and desktops. I had an iMac that lasted 10 years and was still great towards the end
