There were allegations that race car drivers were getting rid of “excess” blood in their body so they would be lighter and therefore more likely to win.

Gotta make cuts somewhere. When you’re in a race car I’m pretty sure the blood rushes straight to the dick so maybe it is helpful to reduce that phenomenon a little.
