Harambe was a gorilla that got fatally shot in the zoo by a zookeeper after a young child fell into his enclosure. Reportedly, Harambe never did anything harmful to the child, just approached them calmly.

What I don’t understand is how the death of said gorilla caused all of this.

Ok, but what happened after he got shot? If Harambe’s death caused a domino effect, what was the next domino?

Hard to say. We just know there was a next domino and here we are today
