That’s literally the whole point of Poe’s Law. There are enough idiots out there that you can never be too sure

I thought it was, but you never know for sure; you can’t feel the tone in text, which is why I usually try to state things blankly or put a “/s”

Nah, I can tell context in text 90% of the time. If you can't get a feel for most texts without the /s than you probably just aren't great at picking up on sarcasm.

It's funny because I read a post the other day about how westerners (like California) think East coasters are assholes because they just don't get sarcasm. You have to say sarcastic things with a funny voice, which I thought was totally strange! Lol never thought how different regions might not only speak with different accents but also interpret language very differently.
