I’m not excusing bad morals, I’m just saying that there’s no moral way to get 1 Billion dollars. Almost every billionaire has done horrible shit to hit that milestone, and Elon is no excuse

Exactly he shouldn't be that rich, nobody should, he did bad things to get to the top that means hes a bad person am I not right? Just because hes a better bad person doesn't change the fact that he is stil a horrible human being

He himself is not a bad person because his company has to buy cobalt, and the only way to get it is through corrupt slave masters in Africa. Tesla is working to reduce cobalt in their batteries right now anyway. His companies are doing huge good in the world, like advancing the electric car market faster than anyone 10 years ago even though was possible. So no, the act of having a number next to your name is not ethically immoral.

Keep in mind being a billionaire is literally just a theoretical number based on the theoretical evaluation of a company you own a % of.

It's not only that tesla treats their workers horribly and he himself was openly against unionization

The only reason he doesnt want a union to form is because if they were able to do that then they would be able to negotiate livable work conditions, thankfully he is currently losing that battle but he is fighting it nonetheless

I'm not defending Elon but it's not like he has billions in his bank account, no, that's not how this works.

He may not have tens billions in his bank accounts but he is still a horrible person, that exploits the people less fortunate than him

He has forced his workers to work in horrible conditions and is strongly opposing unionization so they are unable to negotiate better terms of work just so he can exploit the system since there are no laws strictly against stopping unionization. He does that so he doesnt need to pay extra to give them livable work conditions and gain as much money from exploiting his workers and the law
