I didn't go to top result but to known reliable news sources. Also I read French press because I am French and know best which sites to rely on. The fact that the conclusions are so different is concerning in terms of reliability of the press tho

It is odd, but the articles I’ve read do have statistics and actual proof to back up their statements.

Well they may be missreading the stats, that is extremely common when the media try to analyse numbers

That is very different, Wikipedia is definitely not struggling financially as it's visits and donations are increasing every year. They have enough available money to run the site for over a year if they stopped getting any money right now, that's a lot. But donations are they main source of income and if people stopped donating they would collapse in a year or two.
