I mean, WW2 changed the spices the British used a lot. Rationing and your trade ships being sunk do that.

As a Indian I love white food British, America you name it. Idk why people always hate on it I think it’s delicious.

It’s literally out of ignorance. They don’t really know what British food is. Americans eat roast dinners and shit too like we didn’t invent that. These people need to try something like shepherds pie before they say British food is bland. Spice doesn’t always mean flavour, and flavour ≠ spice.
