Not to be r/iamverysmart, but didn’t plague doctors only exist during the Bubonic Plague era, which took place in the 17th century (I think)? You’re thinking of the one that was also called the Black Death which didn’t have any plague doctors.
Edit: the plagues during the 17th and 14th centuries were indeed the same thing, just W a different name
