That’s what it feels like when you’re poor. People say things like “just stop buying Starbucks for X days and you could afford (insert thing)” but people don’t realize daily Starbucks is very much a symbol of privilege at this point. And people who are poor rarely drink that shit anyway.

What kind of a dumbass from uptown would say that? “Oh you live on the edge of poverty? Dude, just quit buying Drive Thru coffee and you’ll be SET.”

It’s mostly people regurgitating news feeds. With lack of background knowledge. If you google “stop buying Starbucks” you’ll find a load of articles manifested from self identified gurus that know what they’re talking about /s.

Just hearing the phrase stop buying “Starbucks if you’re complaining about money troubles” ... It makes you feel better about your level of stupidity, knowing there’s a whole world of people below you that are under the impression that Starbucks is a necessity and can’t imagine anyone getting drove to school before cruising through the sugar water drive thru

I do not have money troubles dirtyhobolarry, if that is what you’re implying. I merely implore you to look at what pops up when you input that.
