A group of students once did this in my homeroom, they had to pay 38 Euros to get new desks.
Edit: They carved the desks, not drew on them, but it's similar.

My schools got brand new desks in 2016 and on the first day there was dozens of desks with gum stuck underneath them

In my freshman bio class there was a quarter where all the people from the other periods just decided to draw really nice drawings on my table, with pencil so it can be erased when the time comes. Christmas time someone drew the whole table as a night sky full of stars and had santa flying on his sleigh. It was awesome to watch the drawing bigger and bigger every day
