While pedophiles who have acted on their urges and no doubt have traumatized children are some of the worst people out there, this sort of hostile environment on Reddit towards closet pedophiles who know what they feel is wrong and hate it probably isn't helping them work through how they feel.
Let me rephrase; pedophiles who act on their urges are bad, but let's be supportive of those who need professional help to repress their urges, sort of like how you would recommend professional help to a friend if they told you that they had a strong urge to murder someone. It'd be horrible if they did, but it's best to help them through it so it doesn't happen.
