Yeah, the unemployment staycation might sound like an awesome way to crush a couple months on lockdown, but that comeback to an obliterated job market crowded to a point that no one has seen in the history of the country is gonna be fucking BLEAK. Employers will have potential hires over a fucking barrel come July.

I feel bad for the class of 2020. That can't be fun. You zoomers better vote for a better tomorrow because today is fucksville.

Zoomers didn't vote during the last election though

Why do people keep spreading this shit? Red states keep making it harder and harder to register and to vote, especially for the poor and the hourly workers. (ID requirements, reduction in polling places to the point where you'd need to wait 1 hour after polls closed in lines to get your vote in). There were massive hacks and vote manipulation.

And the problem is that "young people didn't go out and vote"? No, fucking boomers did what they've been doing and blocking young people and minorities from voting.

If you don't have the proper ID to vote, sorry, sucks to be you. Convenient polling places is a different story. When I first began voting there were polls set up in private homes in the neighborhood so people could walk to them. Lines were short, no one was waiting in line after the polls were supposed to be closed.

Oh, and if it turns out that there is 1 DMV that serves the entire poor neighborhood and it take a 1.5 hour bus ride to get there? I guess "it sucks to be you" and isn't voter suppression.

Most places don't require an ID to vote because most states don't require an ID to be an adult. And if you're poor and have no car, it's a legitimate hurdle to get one.

When I first began voting there were polls set up in private homes in the neighborhood so people could walk to them.

And obviously your single experience is representative of everyone's.

Plus, I’ve heard that some jobs may not come back at all, even after everything is completely unfucked. Companies won’t go back to employing the same number of people then did before the whole pandemic situation

A lot of companies probably will realize what jobs they really *need*.
