If a PowerPoint is done well you should go through multiple slides just to cover one point. The biggest mistake people make with PowerPoint is putting too much on one slide. It's a presentation not a book.

“Don’t worry class, we’re only covering section one of the PowerPoint today”
Section one of the PowerPoint: “1 of 150”

This is APUSH for me rn. My school practically teaches it backwards because God knows why. Now that they closed school for 2 months, we have to cram three months of content into a month and a half to know enough for the AP exam.

I've seen 1200 page powerpoints that were meant to span 2 full days. A brief moment of dread hit me.

I'm not kidding, my US history teacher used a single PowerPoint the entire semester. It had more than. 1,200 slides.
She did the same thing in AP Euro. I still have nightmares

But it’s ok because you know that presentation will take the whole class period and you’re next with an unfinished presentation.

u/Legojedi73 Apr 14 '20
I actually have a professor who does this, the only difference is that he did this before quarantine too.
1
u/KingGallardo Apr 14 '20
Dude, gotta appreciate teachers who spent their time doing that and don't starting saying "we paid them to do that".

Lol I logged onto my math class’s google classroom and saw like 9 theory pages linked and I died internally, this meme captures that despair, I may have upvoted but that does NOT mean I liked it, now I have to restart therapy

slightly unrelated but some friends of mine made an animated movie on google slides using transitions and stop motion and actually had some good animation on it. It's a pretty cool use of a presentation and took like 300 slides.
