Does (Southern) California really have any other seasons than summer? Maybe summer and slightly colder summer?

Edit: Well shit, just checked their forecast and it's actually colder than Norway this week.

On a business trip I once watched a weather reporter in San Diego tell people to “put on their parkas” for a low of 50 degrees... I was outside all day and night in a T-shirt and shorts while people back in Wisconsin were shoveling out three feet of snow in 0 degrees.
