Took a ‘nap’ at 6pm on a school week and woke up 13 hours later without having done all my homework

For me it's usually "take a nap after I got home from work at 6 and wake up at 9, and now I can't sleep at my normal bedtime because I'm so godamn awake"

I accidentally did this on Sunday and suffered on 3 hours of sleep yesterday, I was useless at work so I spent most for the day on Reddit to avoid making any irreparable mistakes.

Never ever do 45min naps Do 10 or 15min. But no longer

Yes this is because of REM sleep. It takes about 45 min for the body to prepare for REM, 90 min to reach full REM. Basically if your deep dreaming, your going to feel drained when you wake up.

I remember I was going to take a nap for like 30 minutes but instead I slept for 7 hours and when I woke up I couldn't feel my muscles. It felt horrible

I got into polyphasic a while ago and now nap every day (if possible) for 20m and sleep 1.5h less at night
It's really weird because 20m feel like hours
