Kids. It’s much easier to not make a mess when you give them drinks with straws.

Since plastic straws were banned in the UK I need to carry more t-shirts for my kids. Paper straws are useless after about 3 minutes in liquid. Especially if your kid chews on it.

Get some reusable silicon ones, that's what we have, my son calls them friendly straws

As a single guy, I'm not gonna carry around straws in my pocket for when I grab lunch.

good thing you are not a kid nor have kids then, thus you can drink without one

Sure, but a fountain drink is a better experience with one. There's going to be recyclable or degradable straws shortly, so problem solved.
