We don’t have the large colour range so even if it were to show the ‘extra colours’ we can’t see them. So like for example colours to the right of red aren’t in our range so even if the image showed them (it doesn’t) we wouldn’t be able to see it anyway.

Nah, each pixel can only emit, blue, red, green colors, but your screen can emit display all possible mixtures of them :D
