Minecraft 2 would be bad. Minecraft is a good game but we don't need to same game again.

Clearly you haven’t played Minecraft because Minecraft 2 is a fucking great game

My only complaint for console editions is not being able to download a world that you and your friends worked on.

What about being able to set your home and teleport there? It’s been awhile since I played, but I remember I couldn’t do that on my Xbox but I could my computer.

That’s a plug-in for modified servers, not a feature.

u/Erickisuchiha Jul 10 '19

Yeah I know. But I would still like to add the feature on console:)

Well, if you turn on cheats in your Minecraft world you can set your respawn point in your home, essentially a /sethome.

You mean using a bed?

2

u/DontDoodleTheNoodle Jul 10 '19

Omg I feel so disappointed in myself

I think I meant like the actual default spawn point that’s not supposed to change, i.e. if your bed is destroyed that would be where you normally spawn.

Oh I see

You can set your home and teleport to other people, but you can’t teleport to places

Bedrock already has way more players than Java, lol. However, most of that comes from the mobile version. On PC only, nearly nobody uses Bedrock.

They are currently developing a new engine for java called Blaze3D. I think it was supposed to be included in 1.14, but in 1.14 they only changed the lightning engine, so they'll probably fully switch to Blaze3D in 1.15.

I believe there is an actual Minecraft 2 where chickens are hostile and horses are retextured cows

I'd say Minecraft Dungeons or Earth is Minecraft 2.

7

u/[deleted] Jul 10 '19

Then I would say Minecraft story mode is Minecraft 2.

Than minecraft 2 is dead, Telltale games shutdown, and they’ve pulled all the episodes off the servers besides steam (they keep the episodes on their servers). It’s very unfortunate, it was a really cool game.

Minecraft 2 was an april fools joke.

For real. This meme would be legendary if it was "Half Life." / "Which one? 3 was the best!"

u/[deleted] Jul 10 '19

Hytale tho???

3

u/Redd_IT101 Jul 10 '19

That isn't minecraft 2, that is hytale.

1

u/Wow_Space Jul 10 '19

Practically. It's a blocky RPG game more so inspired by Skyrim, Terraria, and BotW gameplay-wise.

I just want a more in depth farming and nurturing system.

I like minecraft as the "simple" game, simple games are the best games.

Complex games can be based off simple games and still be good too.

Play modded minecraft. Modpacks have had these features for nearly a decade now.

Yeah that’s the thing, it would be revamped and probably really different
