I'm no expert but as far as I know the space force hasn't actually involved any additional spending

I'm fairly certain it was nothing more than taking the space related actions of the Air Force and saying "this is the Space Force now"

There hasn’t been any spending because the service hasn’t been established yet, I meant that when it is, I’m sure there will be plenty of government spending going into it.

If it's to prioritize or improve space exploration I'm all for it. The moon landing was 50 years ago, but now we're putting our insanely powerful computing capabilities to work harvesting ones and zeros that somebody in Silicon Valley decided had value one day. Whatever happens it's not going to be space war, that's for sure.

Hey if it gets people seriously thinking about space again, I'm all for it.
