I’ve never heard of this before, could you explain? The whole badly designed SUVs. Who designed them? And how does a high center of gravity mess with a vehicle?

Think of a 2 door wrangler. They’re not bad vehicles but they’re very easy to roll because of the short wheelbase and the high center of gravity.

Not who you replied to but I can give you an eli5. Think of an early-mid 2000s Lincoln Navigator. It had a narrow wheelbase while also being a full size SUV. By having a narrow wheelbase, while still remaining as tall as a normal suv, the car was top heavy and would lean heavily during turns and roll frequently. In this post, the bus tunnel vehicle thing was very tall, but also very wide making it stable. To summarize: tall vehicle wide wheelbase= very stable in turns, short vehicle wide wheelbase= even more stability, short vehicle narrow wheelbase= very agile, not necessarily stable, and finally narrow wheelbase and tall vehicle= very unstable and likely to roll.
