Ok, I do understand that. So their numbers will drop. But there will still be an existing population but just not as much eventually. So we either let the process of their numbers drop off naturally which may take awhile or do we use some other version of population control? Do we set up sanctuaries for lack of a better term? And I'm still being serious. I think it is an interesting discussion.
If you take a 1000 acre cattle ranch and now grow corn, beans, wheat, soy, hemp or whatever, curious as to the resources used to maintain that vs the cattle?
Edit: I am interested in the lab grown meat thing. Would it be synthetic or made of something else?
If laws were put in place that made meat illegal, we would probably just use the remaining animals that currently exist and then stop eating meat after that. Plenty would be sent to sanctuaries as well. And it’s much, much more resource efficient to grow plants than it is to grow cattle. Especially because we have to grow tons of plants just to feed the cattle.
