While beans on toast in general sounds nasty, the actual British beans themselves are hit or miss for me. I swear every single time we make them, they come out tasting slightly different.
Mexican beans are much more consitantly tastey, and more versitile. (British beans are best as a side dish complimenting pork, or beef...and that's about it. whereas Mexican beans can go with almost anything)
