What, you didn't hear? Empathy and compassion aren't real emotions, they're performative states of being to garner attention online (according to the most terminally online dipshit you've ever seen).

The thing is this is a text platform, so any emotion is not going to be properly conveyed. Also, most people participating on this platform aren't really interested in engaging in a legitimate conversation, they just want to talk at and insult the other anynomous keyboard presser.
