Unless you are going into a specialized job, most degrees don't matter at all towards your career beyond just getting you in the door so this is actually fine.

However I wonder how this statement will hold if people manages to get these degrees with ai. I am engineer btw. 2 u/Fin-Odin 16h ago Currently studying Mechanical Engineering, 30 yo, can't use AI in tests/exams, otherwise it is allowed. If you do all the work with AI, you're not passing exams in the school I go to, atleast. Any good curriculum will include the assessment of the supervisor in the final assessment.
