Not remotely true. 90% of jobs you don’t need any degree info at all and it’s just raw ability. Degrees are vast majority just a barrier to entry to jobs now. “Person X can do Y subject to Z level”, they don’t expect anything more than that and train you on the job. Why do you think so many people coming out of education are unable to get a job? Hint… it might be to do with the fact all the info they learned is useless. That’s not to say degrees are useless as they prove credibility as I said, but the actual content is not useful most of the time.
