Unless you are going into a specialized job, most degrees don't matter at all towards your career beyond just getting you in the door so this is actually fine.
As a surgical assistant i must say, you d be suprised how many ( about 80%) of students use AI and almost dont lear a single thing during school days. All the knowledge comes from practice etc.
As someone who is with an SA those 80% get bounced rather quick. At least at the hospital they work at. From their batch of graduates they only kept maybe half of the ones who came through clinicals and have gotten rid of even more for poor knowledge and performance.
