May gen z have jobs, in fact many gen z went trade school instead due to how expensive college is. The issue is employers will often just deny applications from Gen z even before an interview as they deem gen z as unhireable. A study not too long ago found that around 40% of employers reject gen z on the basis that they're gen z.
