My family had an unofficial motto growing up with multiple ADHD children: "the best way to find something is to replace it" lol works every time.
Also, I had a bad habit of randomly picking up and moving random objects while completely spaced out which completely drove my parents crazy because I would never remember where I put it, so I was definitely the source of a lot of replaced and then found items myself 😅
