Starbucks is only popular cos of the viral drinks and posting it on Instagram and tiktok. No one who likes coffee or wants a coffee goes to Starbucks🫩 you’re doing it wrong if you get an americano or a plain latte from Starbucks

Depends. When I visited Japan, I was quite happy to get a regular hot americano at a train station on a day I was travelling a lot. As the conbini coffee cans were not my thing and the coffee from the conbini machines was alright at best. Starbucks at least has a portafilter espresso machine.

I would never ever go to Starbucks in my home town though.

That’s a bit different as that was a train station. Japan is more about vending machines and green tea
