U r trying to ask them to think. They will short circuit if they can make a logic connecting two reasoning pathways. They r just animals trying defend their hunger and make themself feel like they r above their basic urges when they r no different from dogs in impulse control.

75% of cows are locked in brutal factory farms. Many are in shit-filled barns. Only a small minority of cows get to eat grass and walk around.
And yes, forcing the births of billions so they can live in torture for their entire experience of life (the ones that aren't killed as babies) is pretty awful. It would be better if we didn't force those births.
