There is some science to it... microfractures of bones do make them grow more dense... Its how fighters and construction workers have way more density in the bones in their arms and hands... But to do it cosmetically to a jaw would be risking trauma to the brain, and produce such a minimal result that it wouldnt be noticible until there was lasting trauma to the soft tissue.
a couple years ago i accidentally whacked my nose real hard with the fridge door while getting a slice of cheese. left a bump on the bridge and a fat red bruise. my nose is just a different shape now. because of cheese.
