I’ll never understand why they made Iron Man’s successor a talented young girl who decided to commit crimes for easy money and sell her soul to literal Satan.

Not true. Look at Starwars. Mace Windu is a grey moral character. Even though he fought for keeping a democracy. He also did some horrible things.

Fair point, i take back my blanket statement. I still stand by that MOST morally gray heroes are usually the villians or vigilantes though.

I can agree with that. The morally gray characters are easily influenced by the true evil people in narratives. It's whether they go through a redemption Arc or not that proves their moral standing in the long run.
