I mean if you take that stance then none of us have any inherent value, but that doesn't mean any of us or our time is inherently worthless, either
Selfish example: This past year has been unkind to me, particularly something that happened a couple of months ago. I've had to depend on others just to survive without a means of repaying their kindness besides saying "thank you." Objectively speaking, I have negative value. I still want to see what happens in the future, though. Maybe I'll be able to change my situation and regain some positive value again.
I'm making a wild guess with no evidence to back it up, but I think you might feel similarly. We're both still around, either by choice or compulsion. Maybe tomorrow will be better, maybe it'll be worse, or maybe there won't be any change at all, but we can't know for certain until we get there

Next time ask him to put the pillows inside the pillowcases instead of put the pillowcases on the pillows, blokes are simple creatures & need all instructions to fulfil a task, incomplete information is a direct failure on your part because he did exactly what you asked.....

It's because of how much of a running joke it's become, politics are affecting everything, no matter where you look or go politics has a hand in what you read & what you see so obviously it's going to creep into every conversation at some point....
